This was very easy and a nice green color for St. Paddy's day dessert. Unfortunately it wasn't a hit with my family, but it was for me, just there personal taste to the pistachio flavor. Thanks for a festive holiday dessert!!!
OH MY GOSH! This was sooo good. The waiting was hard, lol, but so worth it. I used graham crackers myself. I think that worked best for me. MMM, the crunch from the heath bars made it good too.
My husband isn't crazy about pistachios, but I love them. So this was more of a dessert for me. He said it was ok, but I thought it was wonderful. I will have to make again for other people who appreciate pistachios. Thanks for posting.
I made this using a graham cracker crust in place of the butter crackers, I did not have enough vanilla ice cream so I used half peppermint and vanilla, the outcome was still great, thanks for sharing hon, my family enjoyed this!...Kitten:)
I made this recipe for st. patty's day after seeing it in Taste of Home. I actually made mine the day before (except for the whipped cream top layer) and kept in the freezer. I also used graham cracker crumbs to make the crust. Before serving dinner I pulled from freezer and added whipped cream topping and heath bars. Then while we ate dinner I let the dessert sit at room temp. It was great!
What a tasty treat. I love the combination with a slight crunch from the Heath bars. Very easy to put together. Thanks Pets.
