I have not tried this recipe. I got this recipe from Obesity Help. This recipe was posted by Darlene and E J.
- 1⁄2 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
- 1 (1 g) packet Splenda sugar substitute
- 1⁄2 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon peanut butter
- Combine all and chill.
Enjoying this right now for breakfast! I did stray a bit from the recipe, using a homemade chocolate almond butter from this site, http://www.food.com/recipe/yummy-almond-butter-with-3-variations-431138 and using a bit more than called for. I sweetened it up a bit more with maltitol imitation honey. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this, since I've only had Ricotta in savory dishes up until now. Thanks for sharing!
Recommended for Phase 1 of the South Beach Diet. Awesome taste. Great for those silly cravings!
