I made these for a golf buff's retirement party. They were delicious. I displayed on a platter covered with green tinted coconut and stuck a homemade golf flag in the middle.

I was going to post this recipe and saw you had already done so. Mine is the same as Chef #57042's. The cookbook is called "Capitol Cookies" and posts a cookie recipe from each state. This one is from California. I can't wait to try both variations, thanks for posting!

I have not tried this recipe. My copy of this recipe is slightly different. It calls for 2 cups Rice Krispies, 2 cup creamy peanut butter, 2 cups powdered sugar, 1/2 cup soft butter, 6oz butterscotch chips and 1/2 bar paraffin. No vanilla extract is listed. The rest is the same. These sound yummy! Thanks for posting. Christine (internetnut)
