      The flavor of this ice cream is wonderful. The texture was a bit more icy than I would have liked, but I used only whole Lactaid milk so my husband could eat it. Next time I will scald the milk (a step I omitted this time around) as the custard wasn't that thick.

      This was AWESOME!!! This is my favorite ice cream and I have been dieing to try this! I didn't know what scalded milk was so I looked it up and decided to skip it, lol. But it still came out and I am in HEAVEN. THANKS FOR POSTING!
