This recipe is the geatest. So easy and what a flavor. If you like cherries you got to try this.
It is easy to make and very good.
We liked this quick and easy dessert. I didn't have enough cherries, so I also used a can of crushed pineapple, drained. The reason I gave it four stars is because ..i feel the baking time is off. I would go with 40 mn. then see. Thanks for posting!
This is really great. It is easy and delicious. I think I am even going to try it with other fruits when they are in season. I ate it with creme brulee ice cream and it was to die for! Thanks for the wonderful recipe Tom Lambie.....
This was such a hit, I can't wait to make it again. I had to share the recipe with everyone at the party. Have you thought of using choccake so it would be like a black forest dessert, just curious.
We got back from a trip to Door County with a bunch of fresh tart cherries we had just picked and the big question - what to make??? This was one of the recipes we picked and WOW were we pleased with our choice. Such a simple recipe to put together but the results are wonderful. I used Duncan Hines Classic White Cake mix for the cake portion. I also omitted the pecans and sprinkled a few walnuts only on one small section since only one family member (ME) likes nuts. We served it with fresh whipped cream and it was delicious.
