OK, who could resist combining peanut butter and sour cream in a spoon after reading this introduction? I know I did, and good though that was, the complete recipe takes those two flavours to new heights...this recipe is delicious! I made the recipe as stated, ( using light ingredients, and in the food processor), and served it as a mousse for a company dessert, garnished with chopped peanuts. I also tried using it as a dip...strawberries first dipped in the whip, then in crushed peanuts...delish! Next time I will try a chocolate drizzle and banana variation. Peanuts are the go-to snack in our house, but this recipe gives the humble legume elegance for company.
This was good and easy to make. I followed the recipe as written and served with apples. Yum.
This is a very tasty as a fruit dip, but it was also good topped with peach sauce! Thanks for this easy-to-make KEEPER! [Tagged, made & reviewed in Adopt a Tag]
This is so delicious and so easy. A yummy treat when you are craving peanut butter. I topped it with strawberries and bananas. It does taste like peanutbutter cheesecake as Annacia so eloquently put it! I will definitely be making this one again.
Yummmmm. Think peanut butter cheesecake and you're on the money. I used low fat cream cheese, and fat free sour cream. I made 2 servings and after tasting a added more peanut butter (it ask for 1/8 cup of PB and I gave it 1/4). It whizzes up in seconds in the food processor. I can see this as a cake filling, sandwiched between cookies or spooned into a cookie crumb crust as well as the fruit dip/pudding as suggested. I have bananas to slice onto it for dessert later but wanted to do the pix now. This is very rich tasting and if your not sugar impaired try swirling some jam through it. Engrossed, I think you have a real winner here!
