Carla's Oreo Pudding Dessert

"This is similar to the ever-popular "Oreo Dessert" or "Dirt Cake", except I make mine with ice cream, and it's ohhhhh soooo much better! This is hands-down my hubby's favorite dessert."

  1. This was really amazing and made enough for a large crowd. Much better than the jello oreo dessert in a box (which I love). Also, I skipped the 3/4 c butter and baking step. Just poured the ice cream mixture on the loose crumbs and it worked great (lower fat and easier). Thanks.

  2. Really the best ever. I have other friends that make a similar dessert, but Carla's is much better. (She's always been an over-acheiver...)

Hello! My name is Carla. I have 5 kids ages 10 and under. I love to cook, sing, paint, bicycle, and play piano. It's hard to squeeze in that many activities anymore though, but I still manage. I grew up in Alabama and learned to cook everything southern. I spent a lot of my childhood and all of my adult life in Colorado, the healtiest state in the nation. I've become a health and fitness fanatic. I'ts a real trick to balance healthy eating and southern cooking. I've learned to make a lot of modifications to make those southern dishes work for us though.
