Made this for New Year's Day to take to a sick family member. Of course, I had to keep some for us. Good thing, for it was so yummy!! Left out the nuts, but followed rest of the recipe exactly. Be sure to chill it for a long time, just like a cheesecake. Very easy to throw together. Could even spread a chocolate frosting/topping over the top for a different look/taste. Sure doesn't need it, because it is delish just the way it is. Great recipe, Marie!

I honestly cannot rate this recipe on taste as all I sampled was a nibblet -- I took it to work and it disappeared VERY quickly. I received a ton of compliments and recipe requests. This recipe was very easy to prepare (other than the tedious task of unwrapping all of the caramels)and I followed the directions exactly using pecans. Thank you, Marie, for making me look like I am a good cook with this easy and wonderful recipe!!!

Great recipe Marie! I made this tonight for Sunday night dinner dessert, using my own recipe for sweetened condensed milk that I keep in the freezer. I was looking for a recipe to use up all the extra caramels that I had left over from Halloween...just as you stated, it is fabulous! between five people, there was not a speck left over, everyone gave this dessert thumbs up. Thank you for posting such a wonderful recipe, this is a keeper for sure.....Kittencal:)
