YESSSS!!!! You have made me a happy, HAPPY person with this recipe! I grew up in Wisconsin eating this ice cream and it is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE ice cream! Unfortunately, where I live now, you cannot find it anywhere...they've never even heard of it; so I had to wait until I made the trip back home to get my "Blue Moon Fix!" LOL!! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe!

I don't know how you got it, but I'm so glad to have stumbled upon this recipe!!! It tastes like the Blue Moon I used to eat in the summer as a kid growing up in Erie, Pa. The scret is, I think, in the vanilla pudding. Turned out perfect! Though, I did follow another reviewer's suggestion and used 1 cup milk and omitted the half-n-half (didn't have any on hand). Superb! Loved it!!! Thank you sooooo much.

I was so pleased on how this recipe turned out. My daughter flipped out when I surprised her with it. Blue Moon is her FAVORITE ice cream and she said it tasted perfect. I ended up using 1 cup whole milk and 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, not using any half and half. Also I used 1 tsp. raspberry extract and 1 tsp. lemon extract. It took 30 minutes to make in my ice cream maker. Thanks so much for posting. We will be making this MANY MANY more times.
