      Loved this! I too replaced the sugar with the same amount of Splenda. My boys thought the vinegar was too strong, but they're not balsamic lovers anyway. So they don't count. ;) I added a bit of black pepper and was pleasantly surprised with the added dimension. Thanks for posting, mamadeedee!       I made this, but used splenda instead of sugar. Strawberries were still awesome and I was surprised how well the balsamic vinegar worked in this. Will definately make this again.
