This is a wonderful recipe. I loved the dough, it was very easy to work with. I let my dough rise overnight in the fridge and finished assembling this early in the morning. I used brown sugar in both the dough and filling and raisins instead of dried fruit. After reading a few of the reviews I only used 1 1/2 c. of sugar in the glaze and it was plenty sweet. It turned out beautiful and so delicious! Thanks for sharing your recipe.

This was wonderful...moist and light! I made a ring and replaced the shortening with > 2tbs.butter and used raisins, pecans and about 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar for the filling. Also, I only made 1 cup of powdered sugar icing and it was more than enough. (Didn't want it too sweet.) I liked how there wasn't much butter in the recipe and yet the flavor and texture were still great. Will make again! Thanks!

These were so good and actually very easy ... either that or I am getting good!! I followed the recipe and directions to a T except for backing off a bit on the butter in both the filling and glaze. Great, great dessert - Thanks for a keeper

Wow, I live in a town where Danish is EVERYTHING, and these were DEE-Vine! I did do this as the roll, and used dried tart cherries and pecan chips for the filling. I alos cut down on the powdered sugar in the glaze as Nasseh suggested and add some freshly grated orange zest to it. My husband thought I went to the bakery for him they were so good. And they are so easy you can make them everyday!

YUMMY. I used walnuts instead of pecans due to price difference, also used craisins instead of dried fruit bits. For the glaze, I didn't have any orange juice, so used my own glaze recipe. This was SUPER good and SUPER SUPER easy to make. If you need a quick breakfast roll or dessert - this is it. Made for Photo Tag

These were delicious! I made 1 with pecans & 1 with walnuts. Everybody agreed that the walnut ones were the best. I only used 1 cup of powdered sugar for the glaze instead of the 2 cups the recipe called for. I also used mixed berries instead of the fruit bits that were recommended. Great recipe! Thanks 2Bleu for another winner.
